Professional Photographic Artist, Sue Murray collaborates with people with spinal cord injury to create digital artworks that tell their stories through powerful self portraits

Arts NSW, Accessible arts and Australia Council recognise Imagine Me for quality assurance and best practise in the arts and disability sector. My reputation for excellence is demonstrated by :

A Participant centred approach: I am continually adapting and developing innovative workshops to enable greater access for people living with a range of disabilities ensuring our program is fully inclusive for people of all abilities

A Whole person approach to delivery of creative workshops for those who want:
  • Vocational outcomes: Participants wanting a professional career in the arts are supported
  • Therapeutic outcomes:  The creative process supports emotional expression through art
  • Social outcomes:  Workshops reduce isolation helping build creative social communities and peer support

Participants don't need to ask a carer or a friend for help, the technology gives them total independence and that's very empowering

Initially developed for people with spinal cord injury, ImagineMe is continually adapting and developing innovative workshops to enable greater access for people living with a range of disabilities, most recently for young people with intellectual disability

Participants can share stories, knowing that everyone in the room understands. The social connection is hugely important."  read more Sydney Morning Herald (web version)
