IMAGINE ME CASULA POWERHOUSE ARTS CENTRE

The Imagine Me project is an innovative creative awareness-raising project for people who are living with a disability.

The Imagine Me Casula Powerhouse workshop series was a collaboration between lead artist Sue Murray and a groups of individuals, each with a different injury, in celebration of International Day of People with a Disability.

This project took place in December 2015 at the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre for International Day for People with Disability.

Project Description

This workshop was a walk-in format involving people with a wide range of disabilities, and so we used a different structure. Instead of the laborious process of learning the in's and out's of photography and photoshop, we used the faster and more intuitive process of drawing over photography on the iPad.

Imagine Me is an innovative creative awareness-raising project for people who are living with a disability.

We aim to foster greater community understanding toward people living with disabilities.

This project was funded by
Australia Council and Arts NSW through the Lifetime Care and Support Authority.
